About:Chinese Embassy in Australia

Stopover in China

Hi there,I am an Australian resident with an Italian passport and will be stopping for four days in Beijing on my way to Italy and again will be stopping in Shanghai for three days on my way back to Australia,do I need a visa for only few days?My trip will commence in July,shall I start getting the visa now?

Yes, you need a transit visa. Regularly, a month before the trip commence day is the best applying time, so you can apply now.
