About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

I am travelling with a group but need to apply for a visa individually. What is the procedure?

I live in a different city than the group, and I will be out of the country when the group application is made. Can I apply by mail? I would apply to Toronto.

Yes, you can apply for China visa by post, make sure to apply through CVASC in Toronto. They have detailed procedure about application by post on their website.
