Can I use my one week old bank account for Visa requirements?

U only have a one week old bank account. Can I use it for my visa application or if not, can I just use my joint account ?
I will start my work on june 18 and I will apply my visa right before my start of work, will I declare myself already employed or not?

If yes, will they call the company I listed on my visa application to confirm?
Thanks

So, you just apply for tourist visa to China, right? if yes, the one week old bank account is ok for use. If you can not provide an employment certificate, company ID, SSS ID and contributions, TIN ID and latest ITR, you'd better not mention that you are employed.
