About:Chinese Embassy in U.S.A.

If you are just booking on-line and don't have a travel agent, are you able to mail the application?

I am from Minnesota and I think the embassy is in Chicago. Do I have to drive to Chicago to submit my application? Or is there an easier way?

Mary, you are right. You need to apply at the Consulate-General of P.R.China in Chicago. Mail service is not available there. But you can first mail all the required documents to someone or a travel agency in Chicago and entrust the person or travel agency to apply on your behalf.
