business visa query from india

Hello there,I want to visit china on business visa, my agent said he has to book the ticket first before applying for china business visa. Is that true we have to book the tickets first without getting china business visa ?If i book the tickets and lets suppose i don't get the china business visa at that time what will i do ?Your immediate reply would be highly appreciable.

As far as I know, return tickets are not required for business visa application in India unless it is specially required by the Chinese Embassy or Consulate-General. So, better check again with your agency.
