About:China Train Stations

I want to take the train from Beijing to UlaanBaator via Beijing-Hohhot-Erlain-ZamyanUud-UlaanBaator

Is there a through train or do I need to change trains?
What is/are the name(s) or number(s) of the train(s)?
Can I buy tickets at the train station, and how far ahead?
Is there one train ticket for all, or is there one price for foreigners and another for Chinese Nationals?

Hi, there are two direct trains i know from Beijing to Ulan Bator. The train schedules are listed as follow for your reference only since the price is changeable.

K3 0805/1320 Ticket Fare: CNY2,241/deluxe-sleeper, CNY2,056/soft-sleeper
K23 0805/1320 Ticket Fare: CNY2,241/deluxe-sleeper, CNY2,056/soft-sleeper

You could purchase international train tickets at the railway station directly. However, it is difficult to buy it on the spot since the tickets are needed urgently, you'd better book tickets through travel agencies which are commissioned to sell international train tickets.
