Visa requirement for naturalized US citizen

I am visiting Manila, Phils in June 2012 and would like to visit Beijing for 2-3 days. I plan to fly from Manila to Beijing, then back to Manila before I return to the US after my vacation in the Philippines. What type of visa do I need and how many days would it take to process. My permanent residence is North Carolina.

You need to apply for a tourist visa to China. A single entry China tourist visa is valid for 3 months after issue, so you can apply China visa now in US if you intend to visit Beijing before mid August. The processing takes 4 working days under regular service. The embassy also provides rush and express service for visa processing, extra service fee is required.
