dear we are 3 person not 5 if we go to embassy they can give us visa we only want to go urumchi or some other city other documents we can provide but no have invitation letter our purpose of tour is only tourism

No matter how many persons are in your group, the China emabssy/consulate won't accept your China L visa application. You should join a China tourist group (more than 5 people arranged through a qualified local travel agency, and then entrust the travel agency to apply for the visa on your behalf.
