how many days i can stay in china with a emergency certificate issued by shanghai consulate

I lost my indian passport & Chinese business visa in china on 8th may 2012. I went to shanghai consulate & got a emergency certificate on 11th May 2012 , they said that is valid for 6 months .
I ENTERED NINGBO, CHINA WITH 6 MONTHS MULTIPLE ENTRY BUSINESS VISA ON MARCH 10TH 2012.
Now how can i get a valid visa from china ? How many days i can stay in china with this emergency certificate . Is this emergency certificate permits me to travel in flights & trains ?
Am i safe now as per chinese law ? or is this under crime ?
Please reply with guidance as soon as possible .
