China Transit Visa & Macao Visa

Now, i get the invitation letter form the organization committee of the conference at Macao.
I want pass China without staying more than 24 hour in the Shanghai airport to get to Macao.
Is it necessary to make application for Chian transit visa?
Can i get the visa of Macao upon arrival at the Macao border(in Macao airport)?
I am Iranian.
