china transit visa & macao visa

Question

Now, i get the invitation letter form the organization committee of the conference at Macao.I want pass China without staying more than 24 hour in the Shanghai airport to get to Macao.Is it necessary to make application for Chian transit visa?Can i get the visa of Macao upon arrival at the Macao border(in Macao airport)?I am Iranian.

If you transit by international flight, stay in the airport transit area and depart within 24 hours, visa is not required.According to the policy, you can apply for a Macao visa upon arrival.
