enquiry about getting transit visa to enter china on my way to thailand

Hello,  am an intending tourist to Thailand from Nigeria. I want to know if i can get a trasit visa to enter China for me to stay up to 10 days in China before moving to Thailand?If yes, what are the requirements?I will appreciate a quick and good response.   Thanks   Mathew

No, but you can try to apply for a China tourist visa. The requirements are your passport, Visa Application Forms (both V2011A and V2011B), a passport photo, Besides, the Round-trip Airline Ticket, Hotel reservation in China, Traveler's Check or the Bank Deposit Certificate are helpful.
