About:Chinese Embassy in Colombia

Going to Japan then to China

Hi

I am living in Bogota (colombian citizen) and I am travelling to Japan for 3 months (already have my visa in order) from July-Octobre I am planning to meet my family for a trip through asia (Japan, China, Thailand) mid october, can I apply for my visa in Colombia before July and enter in Octobre or must I apply in Japan?

You can't apply for China visa in Colombia before July, a single entry China visa is only valid for 3 months, if you apply visa too early, it expires before you go to China. You can try to apply China visa in Japan.
