1 year Spouse Residence permit void?

I currently live in Beijing on a 1 year renewable (valid till 2013) spouse residence permit. My spouse is chinese national. If we were to get divorced this year (marriage on the rocks) does my residence permit become void??? do I have to leave china right away? or can I stay until 2013 then change visa?

Thanks for your help can't find anything on the net about this for mainland china

In my opinion, you visa will become invalid soon after you divorce. You may get an exact answer from the local foreign afairs office or Immigration office.
