About:China Transit Visa

HI, we have a 13 hour stop over in Beijing. Can we leave the airport?

We arrive to Beijing 21:30, and leave 11:30 the next day.
We want to stay in a nearby airport hotel, then return for the final leg of our flight.
Do we need a visa?

Yes, I think you need a transit visa to stay in a nearby airport hotel. If you fail to show a transit visa, you will be stopped from going out of the airport.
