About:Chinese Embassy in South Korea

Is there any exceptions for people who are renewing their korean visa.

Hi, I'm planning on going to China in August from Korea. My ARC card will have less than six months on it by the time I should be applying so I realise that this will rule me out of getting a visa. Is there any exceptions for people who are renewing their korean visa. I should have a new contract by that stage but unsure of a new ARC or how that works.

If this is not possible what is the process in HK, is it a simple pay the fee and get your visa on the spot or do you have to wait a few days?

Thank you for any help!

A China visa is usually valid for 3 months from the date of issue, so I advise you apply for the China visa when your ARC card still has six months validity in advance. To apply for a visa in Hk, it will take 2 working days even if you use the rush service by paying additional fees.
