passport renewal

my china working visa expired on june,and my company renew that for sure and my passport expire on january 2013,what is the best thing to do first?do i need to nenew my pasport now or my chinese working renewal first?dennis from philippines, working in gongming,shenzhen china...thanks

You should better renew your passport first, and then extend your China work visa. Because China visa policy requires your passport should be with validity of 3 more months by the date you leave China.
