About:Chinese Embassy in India

I am an Indian passport holder working in Japan. I want to visit China (Shenyang) to meet my friends

I want to meet china (Shenyang). What are the documents required? And what time and money will it take to get it? I will look after all expense by myself. And I am also planning to visit Hong Kong with my friends and will return to Japan from there. I guess Indians get Visa on arrival for HongKong. Please let me know as soon as possible. Will be obliged. Regards

Indian passport holders enjoy a 14-day visa free period to Hk in fact, but make sure that your passport still has over 30 days' validity when you leave Hk.

As for your trip to Shenyang, you do have to apply for a China tourist visa from the local China Emassy or consulate-general with the following documents:
1. your indian passport that has over 6 months validity and enough blank pages
2. fully filled China visa application form V2011A and V2011B since your are applying for the China visa in a third country.
3. round-trip air ticket
4. valid visa or residence permit in Japan
5. invitation letter from your friend in China with copies of your friend's Chinese residence permit and passport (or Chinese ID card if he/she is Chinese)
