Entry requirements for long stop-over in Hongkong

I am currently working in UAE and going to travel back to philippines on May,2012 via cathay pacific for a short rotation leave.I have a stop over in Hongkong for more than 12 hours.Do i need a visa to get out from the airport to spent my extra time outside?please advise.

You don't need a visa to go out of the airport to spend the extra time outside, Philippines passport holders don't need a visa to Hong Kong for up to 14 days.
