Traveling from South AFrica to Hong Kong to board the Queen Mary 2... do I need a visa?

I'm traveling to Hong Kong for one day where I will be boarding the Queen Mary 2 to travel to India and Dubai. Do I need a Chinese visa should the boat move through the China Mainland's territory??

You don't need a visa to Hong Kong, if you stay at the Queen Mary 2 Crusie Ship when the ship travel through the Mainland China's territory, a China visa is not required, if you want to disembark, you have to obtain a China visa in advance. If you will visit 3 ports within Mainland China, you need a multiple entry visa.
