can we get single day visit visa to shenzhen?

I am visiting Hong Kong from the 15-26march 2012 with my wife and two sons. I wish to visit Shenzen to see the windows of the world. Some one suggested there are tourist operators in Hong Kong who can get single day visit visa to Shenzen. Is it true or do is there an alternative I can take. I also do not have enough days in hands from today.

Yes, there are some travel agencies in Hk which can help to apply for a visa to Shenzhen when you are in HK.  Have you ever been to China before? If so, it's also possible for you to apply for a Shenzhen Special Zone visa at the entry port, with which you can stay in Shenzhen for at most 5 days.
