I have booked for a 5 day visit to Beijing in April traveling on an Australian passport, I want the most cost effective and easy way to get the visa. I live near Brisbane so can visit the office to get necessary forms. Many thanks.

If you live near Brisbane, you should apply for the China visa through the China Visa Application Service Center at Part Level 4, 140 Ann Street, Brisbane.  You may call the center first to get the relevant information first, whose phone numbers are +61-7-3031-6300.If you are in a hurry, you may use the rush service, but the application should be submitted before 12:00 noon and visa is ready for collection on the second working day (after 11:00A.M.).
