You mean to apply for a China tourist visa? You have to prepare the followings:
1. You original passport with at least 6 month validity and 2 blank pages left;
2. A truly and completely filled China visa application form afixed with a recent-taken passport photo;
3. round-way air tickets.
If you are not UAE citizen, you will also have to provide your UAE resident visa valid for more than 6 months and copies of the data pages of the applicant's passport and UAE resident visa.
