First, you have to go to the Embassy for appointment of interview first on Tuesday or Thursday (3pm-5pm, except public holidays), with complete visa application documents as required.
Then on the appointed date, you go to the Embassy for interview. If you pass the interview, you will be given a pick-up receipt which specifies a date of collection. However, it doesn't mean that you will be granted a visa, since your documents will be verified again.
Finally, you can go to the embassy to collect the visa on the date specified on the pick-up receipt by paying the relevant fees.
Applying for a China student visa, you have to prepare the documents below:
1. A completely filled visa application form affixed with a recent-taken passport size photo;
2. Your original passport with at least 6 months validity and 2 blank pages left;
3. Qualified original JW202 Form issued by the relevant Chinese Government or authorized departments;
4. original Admission Notice from the receiving school with the seal and signature;
5. Original guarantee letter from your sponsor in Nigeria and original recommendation letter from two experts and certificate of graduation (Diploma);
6. Physical examination record.
It usually takes 4 working day for the China embassy to process the visa for you if you submit all the necessary documents. The visa fee is 5000 naira.
