About:Requirements for China Green Card (Permanent Residence Permit)

Benefits to holding permanent residence

What are the benefits of holding a permanent residence permit? For example, is the holder eligible to work without an additional work permit?

Second, can anyone advise on the cost of application? The available literature doesn't mention a cost.

The premanent residence holder is eligible to work in China, but he/she is also required to get a work permit.

It costs 1,500 RMB for application.
