When applying for a China tourist visa, return air ticket is necessary. With it, the officer in the visa office will approve proper duration on your visa. Even you change to apply for the visa in HK, the air ticket to Kazakhstan or other countries will also be required.

akma, is there one entry left on your China tourist visa? If you only hold a single entry tourist visa, you has used the entry to enter Mainland China, you can't use the visa again to return to Mainland China from Macau, if you hold a double entry tourist visa, you used one entry, there is still one entry left, you can use it to return to Mainland China from Macau, but the flight ticket back to Kazakhstan is still required, otherwise, your visa on arrival application will be denied.
