About:Chinese Embassy in South Korea

Can an American citizen apply for a working visa in China from South Korea?

I've heard that American citizens would need to go back to America, or send his passport back to America to process a working visa. But since he is in South Korea, can he just get the working visa processed there?

If he holds a Korean Alien Registration Card remaining to be valid for at least 6 months, he can apply for China work visa in Korea.
