Can you please tell me how to go from shenzhen to shantow if Ido not want to use public bus?

There is no direct train from Shenzhen to Shantou. I suggest you take a coach at the Luohu Passenger Depot, where coaches run from 7:30 to 21:30. It will take you around 4 hours.
