How to get visa to HongKong

Hello,i'm from Turkmenistan,and i want to go to visit Hongkong with my Father. My question is where can i get visa to hong kong? Is it possible to get visa from Kuala Lumpur or Bangkok? If i could get visa from bangkok it will be easier for us,because we are planning to stay 1-2days in bangkok.And which documents are required? How long does it takes to get the visa? Which visa we need to get? How much will be cost for person?
Thank you in advance!

You may just apply for the Hk visa through the China Embassy in Turkmenistan before your trip. You are not able to get a Hk visa from Kuala Lumpur or Bangkok during such a short duration. Will you go to Hk for tourism? If so, you have to prepare the following documents:
1. Application form ID 1003A fully filled with your genuine information stuck with yoru recent-take photo;
2. Photocopy of your travel document containing personal particulars, date of issue, date of expiry and/or details of any re-entry visa held;
3. Photo copy of your bank statements, savings accounts passbooks or tax receipts;
4. Proof of employment if any, such as company leave letter, salary slips;
5. air tickets for the trip;
6. Travel itinerary in Hk.

The visa process normally takes 4 weeks. An ordinary visa cost 160 Hk dollars.

Gulbahar, please apply for Hong Kong visa in Malaysia because you study in Malaysia. If you study in Sarawak, Sabah or Labuan, please submit application to China consulate in Kuching, otherwise, please submit application to China embassy in KL, the CVASC in KL doesn't accept Hong Kong visa application. You can't get a Hong Kong visa in Bangkok because you just visit there for 1-2 days.

It takes 4 working days if your Hong Kong visa application doesn't needs the approval from Hong Kong Immigration, you just visit Hong Kong around 1 week or 10 days, I think the embassy can issue you a Hong Kong Visit Visa without the approval from Hong Kong Immigration. It's true that you can collect your visa on the same day if you pay extra 140 Ringgits for rush service.
