About:Chinese Consulates in Russia

Hello! My friend (British national) and I (Russian) are going to go to Shanghai in March from Moscow

we are now applying for a Chinese visa, and have been told by our travel agent (in Moscow) that we will have to provide a hotel reservation with an official stamp from the migration authorities. The hotel (Radisson Blu) told that they can only provide us with book reservation and confirmation letter with stamp of the hotel. Is it enough in order to get Chinese visas?

I think the hotel book reservation and confirmation letter with stamp of the hotel are enough in order to get Chinese visas. I don't hear that the hotel reservation with an official stamp from the migration authorities is required.

Now, Applicant applying for tourist and family visa (L-visa) are required to provide:
1. Invitation letter from a Chinese organization or a permanent resident in China; or
2. Air ticket booking record (round trip) and hotel reservation;
