Chinese Visa application form query

1) Hello, I have completed the V2011A form for a tourist visa but I've since heard I must also provide the copy of the airline tickets AND name/location of where we will be staying. Could someone please confirm if I need to provide this and any other extra information as it is not mentioned on the website thanks ?

2) Also, what to do if our accommodation and internal travel arrangements are not yet completed ?

Cheers, George Krooglik

Yes, you need to provide the round-trip airline tickets and hotel booking confirmation. It is a new regulation about L-visa (Visa for Tourism, Visiting Friends or Family Members in Mainland China), which comes into effect from January 1st, 2012. If your accommodation and internal travel arrangements are not yet completed, your application will be denied.

The tour itinerary issued by a travel agency in China is also ok if you can't provide the flight tickets and hotel booking.

Hi Peter, thanks for the new information . I think the Visa website needs to be urgently updated about this change as many/most people will be greatly inconvenienced until they are correctly informed .

Thanks again,

Regards,
George
