About:Chinese Embassy in Australia

Do I have to apply for a transit Visa to stay at Pullman Baiyun Airport Hotel?

I am on transit for 17hrs at Baiyun International Airport/Guangzhou/China . I plan to book a room at the airport hotel( Pullman Baiyun Airport Hotel) for that period. Do I have to apply for a ( transit)Visa?
If so, what is the cost for an australian citizen?

You don't need to apply for a transit visa, just apply for a 24 hours stay permit when you arrive in the airport by showing the flight tickets to prove you just have a 17 hours stopover, then go to the hotel for rest.
