do i need to provide copies of hotel reservationsairline tickets like i did in 2008 ?

For my last china visa I needed to give copies of my actual hotel reservations and airline tickets to and from China, is that still a requirement

Hotel reservation and air tickets are listed in the visa requirements. But it may differ from one embassy or consulate to another or time by time. As I known, they are not required by China embassy or consulate in Canada at present.
