American going to China from Korea

Hello. I am an American working in Busan. I want to go to China in late Feb, but I hear that in order to get a Chinese visa, foreigners working in Korea need more than 6 months left on their Korean Alien Registration Card, which I don't have. Is there any way around this? Can I pay an extra fee? What do you suggest I do? Thank you.

It's true that foreigners working in Korea need more than 6 months left on their Korean Alien Registration Card, now it is impossible for you to get a China visa in Korea, please go to Hong Kong to apply China visa.
