About:City Wall

Visit Xian city in late April for a congress

In late april I plan to go there for a congress. How is the weather like at that time? If you have 2-3 days available, what would be the best plan to visit (apart form Terracota warriors?). How far is Beijing from Xian, as I will probably come that way. Is the airport far from the city?

It has been quite warm in late April. Good time for visiting.
It is about 1200km between the two cities. The airport of Xian is about one hour's bus ride to the city center. There is airport shuttle.
During your stay in Xian, you can also visit the City Wall, Big Wild Goose Pagoda and nearby Tang Paradise. Shaanxi History Museum is around there too.

Beijing -- Xian:train 12 hours, airplane 2hours.
Day1: Bell tower, City wall. BWGP
Day2: Terracota warriors
Day3: rest.
