About:Chinese Embassies in Asia

Hi, Im holding a Vietnamese passport. I will be travelling from China to USA transiting Hong Kong.

I will be transiting Hong Kong from China (already got a chinese visa) to USA. I will not be stepping out of the airport. Do I still need to apply Hong Kong Visa?

If you are in direct transit by air and do not leave the airport transit area, you won't need a Hog kong visa. Otherwise, you need to apply for a Hong Kong visa in advance.
