About:Policy for Foreigners with Immediate Family Living in China

Need advice on visa for child born in china with Father American and child has obtained US passport.

My Wife is chinese with China passport. I am American with China living visa. Our daughter 5 years old - born in China- has an American passport due to my being US citizen issued here in china. Now she needs a visa or Chinese ID so that she can travel within China but we are told she must go to the USA for this. Is there any other way???

Did you go to the local Exit-Entry Administrative Department of Public Security Bureau to enquire it? It's true that your daughter needs a China visa to live or travel in China because she holds an American passport.
