About:Chinese Embassy in Belgium

Pasport validity required for short Hong Kong visit?

L.S.,

I would like to visit Hong Kong for 1 week in february 2012, however my Dutch Passport will expire on the 4th of May. Can I still visit in February with this passport ?

Yes, you can still visit Hong Kong in February with your passport. The HK immigration asks for a passport with at least one month validity beyond the stay duration in Hong Kong. You just visit Hong Kong for 1 week in February, your passport expires in 4th May, 2012, it is ok.
