About:China Transit Visa

Can I leave the pudong Airport without transit visa

Hello,
I have a German Passport and will have a 13 hour stopover in Pudong on my way to Sydney. Am I allowed to leave the airport to visit the beautiful BUND in Shanghai City?

yes, you are allowed to leave the airport to visit the Bund in Shanghai city. German passport holders enjoy 48 hours visa exemption for transit in Shanghai (exiting the airport is allowed)
