About:Chinese Embassy in UAE

Is it mandatory to have a invitation letter even if you are a visitor?

I will be visiting China as a tourist and do not have a invitation letter nor I have any relatives. Please suggest what should I do?

For tourist visa applicants, a No-objection letter from the applicant's company stating his or her position ,monthly or yearly salary is required, the invitation letter is not required.
