Do I need transit visa for bejing stopover 8 hours.

I'm travelling from Australia to UK on australian passport. I have 8 hour stopover in bejjing do I need a transit visa.

If you stay at the airport transit area, no visa is required.
If you go outside the airport, a transit visa is needed. Or you can just apply for the 24-hour stay permit at the airport upon arrival to travel outside the airport.
