residence permet after resignation

Hi
The residence permit on my passport valid for one year, but I just resigned from the company in China, now I am in Europe, can I return to china without applying for a new visa? (I don't know if the company cancle my residence permit, and how do I know? will that affect when I enter at airport?)

if the company cancel your residence permit, your passport will be asked to hand over to him, then the company go to the local exit-entry administrative bureau of public security bureau to cancel your residence permit, there will be cancell stamp on your residence permit.

If your residence permit without cancell stamp is still valid, you can use it to return to China.

Does this still hold true? I am in the same situation.

I'd like to return to China using theresidence permit.
What would happen if I was to find a new job while there?
Will it be possible to start the new work permit process from there?

Thanks
