About:Policy for Foreigners with Immediate Family Living in China

Hello, one requirement that the Entry and exit requires for my daughter to have a dependents visa

is to obtain an identification certificate from Chinese embassy Philippine office, our daughter is here with us in China and her tourist visa will expire on Nov. 17. We wanted to apply for dependents visa or residents visa because me and my husband are teachers here, the entry exit office required us this document, can we apply it without my daughter going back to Philippines? Can we apply it here in Guangzhou, Philippine embassy? What are the required papers to apply for this? Thank you so much! For your Help!

The original birth certificate issued by Philippines National Statistics Organization is required if you want to get a dependent visa at the Entry-Exit Administrative Bureau, it should be authenticated by Foreign Affairs Ministry of Philippines and Chinese embassy/consulate in the Philippines according to consular districts. You can't make it through Philippines Consulate in Guangzhou. I'm afraid that you have to return to Philippines to make it, then apply for dependent visa in the Philippines for your daughter. After entering China, your daughter can change dependent visa into residence visa at the Entry-Exit Administrative Bureau.
