About:Macau Visa Policy

The requirement for passport validity!???

Good Day!
I am from the Philippines and will be travelling to Macau and HK on December 7-11, 2011!
I aLready booked my tickets and accomodations!
I just recentLy realized that my passport did not comply with the 6 months vaLidity, it is to expire on May 24, 2012.
My question is, wiLL I stiLL be allowed to enter Macau and HK with the above passport detaiLs!???
My purpose for travel is just for Leisure!

yes, you are still allowed to enter Macau and Hong Kong with the above passport. A passport with one month validity beyond the stay duration in Hong Kong or Macau is accepted. It means that when you exit Hong Kong or Macau, your passport still has one month validity.

by macau law, u maybe allowed to enter macau with less than 6months passport validity. But I am afraid, you will not be allowed to leave the philippines if your passport has lessthan 6months validity. This happened to a friend of mine.
