About:Chinese Consulate in Chicago

I am marrying fiancee in China, I have death certificate for deceased wife, do I need anything else?

What other papers are required? See below list of papers have already.Already have passport, my birth certificate, completed application for Chinese Visa (will be taking to Chicago) this coming week. Dut do I still need a certificate proving I am still single and eligible to marry?

Besides the death certificate for deceased wife, you also need to get Affidavit of Single Status, signed before a notary public. Then make the death certificate and Affidavit of Single Status certified by the Secretary of the State Office of the state where the document is executed, at last certificated by relevant Consulate General of China.
