About:Chinese Embassy in Ghana

Student Visa Application

Hello, I was wondering how your student visa application works. I'm a Ghanaian student studying in the US. I was awarded a fellowship by my school to study in China for a semester. So I'm processing all my documents but I receive my JW202 in Jan by which time I should hopefully be in Ghana. Can I apply for my visa in Ghana?

You can apply for China visa in Ghana, the student visa includes two types: X visa for more than 6 months study in China, F visa for less than 6 months study in China.

The JW202 and admission letter are very important documents for visa application.
