About:Chinese Embassy in Switzerland

I am a Romanian citizen, studying in Switzerland can I apply for a travel VISA for China from here?

Good evening,

I am a Romanian citizen studying in Switzerland, and holder of a Swiss B-permit. I would like to visit China with my girlfriend for our winter holiday. Would you please tell me if it is possible to receive the tourist VISA from Switzerland, and what is the procedure to follow? I will be staying with my girlfriend during my stay there.

Thank you very much for your time!

It is possible for you to receive the tourist visa from Switzerland because you study in Switzerland.

You can submit the application to China embassy in Bern or China Consulate in Zurich according to the consular districts. You can submit it in person or entrust someone else to do it.

The following documents are required:
1. your Romanian passport and copy of its data pages
2. the completed visa application form V.2011A and complementary visa application form V.2011B
3. one passport photo
4. Swiss B-permit and its copy
5. round-trip flight tickets
6. Hotel reservation
