visa validity question

Question

If I have a 12 month multi entry visa starting from 5/1/11. Can I visit this spring 4/25/12 and stay for 10 days (it will pass 5/1/12) ? Trying to figure out if I can get by without applying a new one...thanks. If you know for sure please confirm.

Yes, you can still use your 12 months multiple entry visa to enter China on April 25, 2012 and stay for 10 days. The last date of your visa for you to enter China is May 1, 2012. Once you enter China before May 1, 2012, you can stay in China for 30 days if the Duration of Stay is 30 days after entry on your visa. You don't need to apply for a new visa.
