The latest 3 months bank-statements with adequate money is required for China tourist visa application.
You can provide the bank statement of your parents, but the relationship certificate is also required.
Hotel reservation in China and Round-trip ticket booking are also required.

The amount in the bank statement is up to the judgement of visa official.
