can you walk in to have adoption dossier certified while you wait in ny?

I have all my documents together, notarized and county sealed, also been through the State dept.I know need them apostilled for China. I would prefer to walk in and get this done. Can I set up an appt or are there standing hours for this service?

You don't need to make an aoppoinment, you can directly go to the consular office of the consulate in New York from 09:00-12:00, 13:00-15:30, Monday-Friday to apply for authentication.
