Do we have to apply personally and will the visa be released within the day while waiting?

A multiple entry visa is valid for 6 months or 12 months. A single entry visa is valid for 3 months. You may come to the Consular office of the Embassy to submit the application; or you may send someone else or a travel agent to act on your behalf if you cannot come personally. Mailed applications are not acceptable and will be refused.  The visa can't be released on the same day of application. It takes at least 2 working days for processing.
